Photo: Prominent Benue Activist, Nat Apir sheds tears on Facebook over Benue Killings

A prominent Benue-born social activist and public affairs commentator, Nat Apir today shared a photo of himself shedding tears over the recent deaths recorded in Benue state. Apir, a known vocal critic of Federal Government's poor response to the crisis today released the emotional photos with the caption "Benue Valley.....oh Lord hear our cry"
The Benue state Government last week interred 72 bodies in a mass grave in Makurdi. The bodies were those of natives murdered by suspected Fulani Herdsmen in Guma and Logo Local Governments on the 1st and 2nd of January. About 80000 were also said to have been displaced.
