As the NYSC Batch "B" Stream II Orientation Course is set to start on January 19th, the body have directed all prospective corps members posted to Benue and Taraba states to report in Kogi camp instead.
This directive may not be unconnected to the recent Herdsmen killings in Benue and Taraba states. This is probably the first time Benue is having its due corps members moved to another state for orientation. In the past, corps members posted to Borno were asked to report to Benue due to Boko Haram crisis.

In a release NYSC said:

“This is to inform all 2017 Batch “B” Stream ll Prospective Corps Members deployed to Benue and Taraba States that their Orientation Course has been rescheduled,”

The orientation course starts January 19.
