Fulani Herdsmen allergedly set fire on Olu Falae's Farmland

Those suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen have allegedly set fire on the farm. The farm is said to be located in Ondo state. This information was said to have been confirmed by the spokesman of a Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin:

“He (Falae) confirmed to me at 5 p.m. today that the herdsmen attacked his farm this evening,” said Mr. Odumakin.
“He said he called the police, but no help was forthcoming.
“The action of the herdsmen is putting Nigeria on the edge.
“It is so unfortunate that those in the leadership of this country have failed to do anything to arrest the situation or they are complicit in the whole episode.”

Recall that two years ago, Chief Falae was kidnapped by those who was alleged to be Fulani Herdsmen. Also, Fulani Herdsmen attacks has become heightened since the beginning of this year. In Benue state alone there have 72 deaths between January 1 and 2.
