Forbes names Dangote Africa's Richest Man for the 7th Time

Nigeria's Aliko Dangote is still top on Africa's wealth ladder with his net worth pegged at $12.2 billion. His wealth recorded an increase of $100M for the last one year.
Wealth tracker, Forbes notes that “Dangote is looking beyond cement – his most valuable asset – and has been investing in a fertilizer production company and a large oil refinery. Dangote Fertilizer is expected to start operations in the second quarter this year,”

Dangote is the CEO of Dangote Group which has major stakes in cement manufacturing and household consumables.

Glo CEO, Mike Adenuga and Folarunsho Alakija are the other two Nigerians on the list. Adenuga's net worth is pegged at $5.3 billion while Alakija made the list with $1.6, placing 15th position.
