Nigerians woke on Saturday morning to the cheering news of President Muhammadu Buhari's expected return to the country. As expected, the President arrived the country this evening after spending 103 days in London where he was treated for an undisclosed ailment. Before traveling to the UK on May 7, the President had in accordance with the 1999 Constitution, transferred powers to his VP, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who has been acting on his behalf for the past 103 days.
Many Nigerians expressed divergent opinions on the prolonged absence of the President. Many even insinuated that the First Citizen is dead. Talented and vocal critic, Femi Fani-Kayode at a point stated that the country is being ruled by a working corpse.

Radical musician, Charly Boy however did more than criticism as he, alongside Deji Adeyanju led a group called The OurMumuDonDo Movement to protest in Abuja, asking President Buhari to ReturnOrResign. The peaceful protest almost led to violence as the group took its protest to Wuse Market populated by the supporters of Mr President who was alleged to have attempted to lynch the musician. He was rescued by the police and he had to escape for dear life.
The group made what it called a strategic retreat and handed a 21-day ultimatum to the President to ResumeOrResign or face court action.
With President's return on Saturday, not a few are insinuating that his return may have been fast-tracked by Charly Boy's efforts. What do you think? Drop your comments.
