29 born-again Chrisitians relinqiush certificates to WAEC

Apparently in compliance with their new found belief, 29 born-again Christians has confessed to cheating at the time they sat for the West African Examination Council, WAEC. They therefore willingly relinquished their certificates to the examination body.
This information was contained in a statement issued by the body after its 62nd National Examination Committee meeting.

Although, the names of the repentant Christians were not given, the body said among the certs  includes one that was issued 33 years ago (1984) and another one that was issued 32 years ago (1985).
Also returned are three issued in 2000, 2004, 2008, two each in 1992 and 2003 while one certificate each was returned by born again Christians who sat for the examination in 1984, 1985, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2012 among others.
This is not the first time born again Christians are returning certificates to examination bodies in the country.
In 2016, a born again student of the University of Ilorin had written to his school, saying he had to withdraw from the school because the certificate he used to gain admission into the institution was obtained through cheating.
