Man bath wife with acid for visiting ailing grandfather and staying too long

A Ugandian man named Wilbrod Awor has reportedly stormed his in-laws' home in Kakumbi village, Waibuga Sub County in Luuka District, and bathed his wife Ms Jane Kyazike, 25, with acid. The man was angered after his wife stayed too long on a visit to her ailing grandfather.
Ms Jamila Namwase, the victim's mother attributed her daughter's delayed return to her matrimonial home to the fact that she looked after her ailing  grandfather, and that her sister had died in a road accident.
Ms Jane Kyazike spoke from her hospital bed:

“I heard some movements in the house and when I tried to flash the torch on my phone, he poured some liquid which I late realized was acid, on my head and it spilled over the body"
